WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Mead Field will see their new splash pad in mid to late August, according to a city press release.

“The Splash Park construction at Mead Field is well underway since its kickoff in May. In signs the development is progressing, the shelter and restroom building has come to fruition and the concrete pad base prepped for installation. The fun spray features arrived last week.

As it stands today, the contract provides for substantial completion on August 17th. Substantial completion means the structural components are ready for inspection and demonstration. Upon successful passage, the Splash Park may open to the public around this time. It is expected that landscaping and final site work will extend into September.”
