WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Branson’s 2016 Tribute Show of the Year – Carpenters Once More – is coming to Wisconsin Rapids.

Diana Lynn, who plays the role of Karen Carpenter, has been nominated as Branson’s 2017 Female Entertainer of the Year. She earned the group the award of 2016 Tribute Show of the Year.

Carpenters Once More is a heartwarming tribute to that unforgettable duo from the ’70s – Karen and Richard Carpenter. From the birth of this dynamic brother/sister duo to the last of their public performances, the show highlights hits like Yesterday Once More, Close To You, For All We Know, We’ve Only Just Begun, Postman, Ticket To Ride and many more.

Diana Lynn has been entertaining audience since she was three years old. Singing with her brother at a young age, Diana and he quickly became known as the Donny and Marie in Christian music, traveling all around the United States. Diana took a hiatus from entertaining while raising a family, working in sales and marketing, as a magician’s assistant, and nursing, until eventually she followed her life’s dream and moved to Branson, Mo. nearly fifteen years ago. Since that time, she has performed as the lead female vocal in A Neil Diamond Tribute and costarred in the hit production Duets with her husband, Keith Allynn.

Showtime is 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017 in the WRCT auditorium. Tickets are $20, and can be ordered by calling the WRCT office at 715-421-0435, by emailing [email protected], or online at www.wrctheatre.org.
