WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The city has announced multiple lane closures on First St. South and Third St. South.

A lane closure is anticipated from E. Riverview Expressway on the intersection at First St. and Third St. North. This will be due to concrete patch cutting for future utility work. The work will begin in the morning on Wednesday, July 26. Work will only see the lanes closed through Thursday to prepare for coming utility work.

Soon after, a lane closure is expected in the inside eastbound lane and the inside westbound lane in the same area. Utility work will begin on Monday, July 31, and is expected to last close to two weeks.
