‘Loot’ to Bring Vintage Home & Garden to Wisconsin Rapids

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — A new business is slated to open up in mid-August, and the loot looks to be plentiful.

Loot will carry vintage decor and furniture pieces for the home and garden. This will include two candle lines, topiaries, plants, custom pillows, and much more. The location, once ‘Rollin’ Dough Pizza, will now house products that will last a bit longer than greasy meal.

“You can come here to pick up a gift for someone, or grab something for your home,” said owner Kristi Delfino.

Delfino comes from Silicon Valley, Calif., but went to school in the Midwest. According to Delfino, she knows potential customers that may want to seek out Rapids from surrounding areas, including Rockford, Madison, and Appleton. Delfino has put the emphasis on community growth in the area to help put Wisconsin Rapids on the map.

“I’m trying to support the community,” said Delfino. “I try only to buy from other small businesses — trying to get more businesses to the community and getting more people to come.”

Delfino looks to bring more than just vintage garden and home decor to the area, but seeks to hold tent events, food trucks, and much more in its bright future.

Loot is expected to hold its Grand Opening on Aug. 17. It is located at 1810 Baker St. It will be open from Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
