July 26

Ay Chihuahua: A call was made from the 1400 block of 22nd Ave. South to report that a neighbor’s chihuahua but her in the back of the calf and broke skin.

Grumpy Cat: At 3:53 p.m. dispatch was notified of a woman bitten on the foot by their cat after they accidentally stepped on it.

Mailbox Vandal: A report was made in the evening from the 2700 block of Second Ave. South regarding a mailbox that was damaged from a can of soda being thrown at it.

Road Runner: At 12:34 a.m. a report was made of a driver on 48th St. South that had been driving at such a high rate of speed that it almost ran the caller off the road.

July 27

Professor Chaos: At 8:20 a.m. a call was made from the 2000 block of Sheri Ln. to report a couple of kids, ages five through nine, that have been taking the mail out of mailboxes and switching them around with other mailboxes.

Candy Solicitation: At 12:21 p.m. a complaint was made from a business on the 4300 block of Eighth St. South to report a man selling candy outside without permission.

Gas Thief: A report was made from a gas station on the 4600 block of Eighth St. South concerning the theft of gas from the same vehicle two times in one day, totaling $57.13.

Suspicious Truck: At 2:02 a.m. a call was made from 300 block of Fifth St. North regarding a red truck had been parked nearby that passed a red light earlier on.
