WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The 154th season of the Wis. Rapids City Band will come to a close on Sunday, August 6.

The final concert of the season will be held in the Performing Arts Center (1801 16th St. South) at 2:00 p.m. and will feature solo performances by some of the band members.

The band, under the leadership of Keith Olson, currently has about 45 members and, through the summer, performs at the Robinson Park Band Shell on Tuesday evenings.  According to a band spokesperson, continued support of the concert sponsors and business ads enable the City Band to entertain generations of young and old with great music.
