Gotta B-Fit to Offer Diverse Workout Experience

By Joe Bachman
WISCONSIN RAPIDS — One of the best kept fitness secrets in the area will now get a little more exposure.
Gotta B-Fit has a new location, and with it a unique experience for fitness junkies. Speaking of experience, owner Tracy Vigus was born and raised in Wisconsin Rapids, and has been teaching as a certified fitness instructor for over 15 years now; getting her start as a step-aerobics instructor at Rapids Health & Fitness.
Vigus has made the rounds helping others with their health and fitness goals through Riverview Hospital, Mcdonough Orthopaedic And Sports Medicine Center and has always taught fitness classes throughout.
Vigus opened up Gotta-B-Fit in 2011 in the lower level of Bull’s Eye Credit Union on the west side, but when the institution had other plans for the space in 2016, it forced Vigus into moving locations; a move that may have been for the best.
Now located at 1351 Eighth St. South next to Images in Ink, the added exposure seeks to bring more fitness enthusiasts to the part-time establishment. While only open three days a week, Gotta B-Fit offers a variety of workouts from tabata, high intensity interval training (HIIT), resistance training, circuits, and much more.
“Variety is my niche,” said Vigus. “Because we keep the muscles confused all of the time, people keep coming back.”
Vigus offers 8-week programs for all ages and fitness levels. However, while the workouts are challenging and diverse, one of the more prominent parts of Gotta B-Fit is that everyone is treated like family.
“As soon as you walk in the door you’re family,” said Vigus. “Everybody’s high-fiving each other; no intimidation. People are hugging, talking about each others kids — it’s a fitness family.”
Gotta B-Fit opened their new location on July 15. For more information on how to become a member, please call 715-498-1057, or visit their Facebook page at https://m.facebook.com/Gotta-B-Fit-190345727732760/
