WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Supporting the city’s venture into building a state-of-the-art aquatics center can be as easy as getting lunch.

If you missed the first aquatics brat fry earlier this summer, now is your chance to pledge your support by joining city staff for their second Brat Fry & Root Beer Float Sale. Brats, hamburgers, hot dogs, and root beer floats will go on sale from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. this Friday, right out front of City Hall.

You can pre-order and pre-pay by filling out a form online at aquatics.wirapids.org or on our facebook page at www.facebook.com/wraquatics. Delivery is also available for pre-orders that are over $10.

All proceeds go to benefit the Regional Aquatic Park campaign.

If you’re looking to do more, the city is currently looking for passionate individuals willing to participate in the Friends of Aquatics community campaign committee. This committee will work to help raise awareness about the project and raise funds to reach the city’s goal.

If you, or someone you know would be interested in joining our team, please contact Jennifer Clark today at 715-421-8216 or jclark@wirapids.org.
