Here is a rundown of weekend events happening in the Wisconsin Rapids area:

Friday, Aug. 18-20
Cornstock 2017
-“Three days of food, fun and music” is set and ready to go this weekend. Held at Mickey’s Tip-Up, 4231 80th St. South, the three-day event offers a plethora of food, live music, games and more. For more information, check out https://www.facebook.com/events/486262411722446/

Friday, Aug. 18
Assumption Football — 7:00 p.m.
-Check out Royals’ season opener as they take on Necedah. The game will be held at the Lincoln High School football field, 1801 16th St. South.

Saturday, Aug. 19
Lincoln Football — 7:00 p.m.
-After Assumption’s home opener, Lincoln High School opens up the year as they take on Kaukauna. This will be hosted at 1801 16th St. South at the Lincoln football field.

Saturday, Aug. 19
Brat Fry for The Family Center Visitation Program – 10:00 a.m.
-Held at Piggly Wiggly, 1025 Market St. in Nekoosa, this event seeks to help The Wisconsin Rapids Family Center’s Visitation Program improve its outdoor play equipment.

Sunday, Aug. 20
Beer and Yoga — 4:00 p.m.
-Head to Hollyrock’s this Sunday to destress after a long weekend with some yoga…and a beer. Liza Brazeau will be leading the session. A certified essential oil consultant will be on hand, as well. For more information, check out https://www.facebook.com/events/566345197090030/
