Police & Sheriff Calls for Aug. 16-17

Easy Rider: At 9:36 a.m. a complaint was made from a business on W. Grand Ave. concerning a man on a motorcycle who had been traveling down W. Grand at speeds of up to 80 mph.
Father of the Year: At 4:53 p.m. a call was made from the 200 block of 14th St. North regarding a man allegedly screaming at his kids for over 45 minutes.
The Dark Night: At 8:54 p.m. a call was placed from the 500 block of 10th St. North about a bat in the caller’s living room.
Busted: At 4:53 a.m. police were notified about two shoplifters in a store on the 3200 block of Eighth St. South

Leaking: At 11:22 a.m. a call was made from the 1100 block of Sixth St. South regarding a fuel tank leaking diesel fuel.
Gas Thief: At 5:13 p.m. a report of a gas drive-off in the amount of $10.03 was made from the 1700 block of 17th Ave. South.
Stranger: A call was placed to dispatch past midnight to report a woman at a restaurant on Eighth St. South with blond, blue and purple hair “acting strange”.
Stalked: A young man alerted authorities last night regarding his belief that he was being stalked by a man from Chicago.
