WISCONSIN RAPIDS — According to the The Red Cross, you can save up to three lives just by donating blood — now is your chance.

McMillan Library will host a public blood drive next Thursday, Aug. 31. At the moment, there is an urgent need for blood donations in the area.

To help ensure a lack of shortages, The Red Cross is asking donors of all blood types to give blood this coming Thursday. For more information, visit redcrossblood.org to register for an appointment.

You can also call 1-800-RED CROSS, or simply stop in between noon and 5:00 p.m. McMillan Library is located at 490 E. Grand Ave.
