Rapid Fire: Your Top Five Weekend Events

Here is a rundown of local events happening in the area this weekend.

Friday, Sept. 1
Splash Pad Ribbon Cutting — 12:00 p.m.
-Join city staff at Mead Field for a soft-opening of the Mead Splash Pad. Root beer floats and food will be available for purchase. Mead Field is located at 311 17th Ave. South.

Friday, Sept. 1
Lincoln Football vs. Oshkosh North — 7:00 p.m.
-Catch the high-octane Red Raiders on Friday night as they take on the Spartans of Oshkosh North. This event will be held at South Wood County Football Field, 1801 16th St. South.

Saturday, Sept. 2
Lake Arrowhead Arts & Crafts Show — 9:00 a.m.
-Lake Arrowhead will host an arts & crafts show this Saturday. Multiple local vendors will be on hand for the event, located at 1156 Alpine Dr. in Nekoosa.

Sunday, Sept. 3
Rumours — 4:00 p.m.
-Wind down your weekend with Rumours, playing at Anchor Bay Bar & Grill, 3460 N. Biron Dr.

Monday, Sept. 4
Labor Day Celebration — 11:00 a.m.
-Hit Robinson Park for a special Labor Day celebration on Monday. Live music, children’s rides, food, bingo, ice cream, raffles, and more.
