Historic Point Basse to Offer Pioneer Cooking Class

NEKOOSA — Historic Point Basse will host a special ‘Pioneer Cooking Class’ on Tuesday.

Run entirely by volunteers,  the classes will begin on Sept. 12, and run every Tuesday until the 26th. A graduation pot-luck will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 3. Within the classes, attendees will learn basic fire-building methods, campfire cooking, and cooking on an 1850’s cooking range.

Cost for the classes will be $15, which will span a total of 15 hours through the month. For more information, please contact 715-886-4230.

Historic Point Basse is located at 364 Wakley Rd. in Nekoosa.
