Rapid Fire: Your Top Five Weekend Events

Here is a rundown of weekend events happening in the area: 

Friday, Sept. 15
Assumption Football vs. Abbotsford — 7:00 p.m.
-Support your local Royals as they take on Abbotsford on Friday night. This game will be held at the South Wood County 2000 Football Field. Tickets are $4.

Friday, Sept. 15
Central Waters Tap Event — 5:00 p.m.
-Well-known Amherst brewery Central Waters will be returning to Hollyrocks to feature new and beloved ales, lagers, and stouts from Central Waters. Hollyrock’s is located at 114 Second St. North.

Saturday, Sept. 16
Point Basse Harvest Fair — 10:00 a.m.
-This annual fall event returns with apple cider pressing, corn shelling, making sauerkraut, and more. Tickets are $3, $2 for students. Historic Point Basse is located at 364 Wakely Rd.

Saturday, Sept. 16
CWCC’s Art on Tap — 6:00 p.m.
-Join the Central Wisconsin Cultural Center as they host a night of live music, beer, wine, food, and more. More information on how to support the CWCC can be found at CWCC Announces ‘Art on Tap’ for September

Saturday, Sept. 16
SWCHS Vaccination & Microchip Clinic — 9:00 a.m.
-If you haven’t had your pet vaccinated or microchipped, this weekend is the perfect chance. Held by the South Wood County Humane Society, this is a one-in-a-year event. For more information, check out Humane Society to Hold Vaccination and Microchip Clinic
