Police & Sheriff Calls for Sept. 15-17

Wasting Food: At 12:31 p.m. a complaint was made from the 4600 block of Eighth St. South regarding a man who whipped food into the caller’s driver’s side window.
Mysterious Shoes: At 4:23 p.m. a call was made from the 700 block of Seventh St. North to report a box of shoes received in the mail. However, the caller did not order shoes.
Fight Club: At 2:58 a.m. dispatch was notified that a group of people had been fighting in the parking lot of a business on the 2300 block of Eighth St. South.

Sept. 16
Thumper: At 5:23 a.m. a report was made of a loud “thumping” noise coming from the area of Robinson Park.
Billy Clubbin’: At 6:53 p.m. police were notified of a man in front of a house on the corner of Elm St. and Hill who was threatening to use a ‘billy club’ on others if officers didn’t arrive on scene.
IT: At 8:52 p.m. a call was made regarding two people in the area of E. Grand Ave. by the movie theater dressed as clowns. They had been reportedly making people ‘uncomfortable’.
BMX Bandit: At 9:24 p.m. a report was made from a grocery store on W. Grand Ave. that a kid took off with a stolen bottle of liquor on a BMX bike.

Illegal Crossing: At 5:23 p.m. a complaint was made regarding individuals on 17th Ave. North and Bonow that had been crossing the train-track crossing arms.
Lost & Found: At 10:09 p.m. a stolen vehicle was found on the 1900 block of Sixth St. South, and was soon turned over to the owners.
More Clowns: At 11:49 p.m. a report was made of yet another clown sighting, this time at a hotel on the 400 block of E. Grand Ave.
