Melinda Myers presentation coming to Mid-State Technical College

STEVENS POINT – With fall approaching and many focused on preparing their gardens for winter, now is the right time for a presentation from nationally recognized gardening expert Melinda Myers.

Titled “Fall Planting and Prep for a Beautiful Spring Garden,” Myers’s presentation is being hosted by Mid-State Technical College on its Stevens Point campus, Wednesday, Sept. 27, at 6 p.m.

Myers earned her reputation as a longtime TV and radio host, author and columnist. Her presentation will include ideas for adding bulbs, trees and shrubs that all thrive when planted in the fall. Attendees will also learn how to help their new and established plants survive Wisconsin’s often challenging winters with proper watering, winterization and protection from wildlife.

The presentation is free and open to the public. For more information and to RSVP, visit www.mstc.edu/myers.
