WISCONSIN RAPIDS — A police investigation has led to the arrest of an alleged local heroin dealer.
According to police reports, on Aug. 18, a purchase of heroin was arranged from 30-year-old Lindsey Ketelle, of Wisconsin Rapids. A meeting was arranged at a parking lot of a grocery store on the 1800 block of Baker St., only for Ketelle and a confidential informant to then drive to another parking lot of a business on the 900 block of Eighth St. South to complete the sale.
After Ketelle was given $180, she got out of the vehicle, met someone else in a different vehicle, and soon brought back a substance later identified as heroin to the informant.
If convicted, Ketelle could serve up to 12 years and six months imprisonment, and up to $25,000 in fines. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Sept. 26.
