WISCONSIN RAPIDS – Thanks to sponsors River Cities Bank and Bank-a-Count Corporation, United Way of Inner Wisconsin was able to raise $2,000 during Community Shred Day, held Sept. 13.

Approximately 1,538 pounds of sensitive documents were shredded, keeping personal information safe and saving it from landfills.  The documents were shredded by Shred Safe, located out of Marshfield.

For each pound of paper shredded, River Cities Bank and Bank-a-Count Corporation donated $1 to United Way, for a maximum donation of $2,000. For more information, please call 715-421-0390.
