MARSHFIELD – Parents who would like to better understand their child’s Common Core math homework will soon have that chance.

The Mid-State Technical College Speaker Series includes an Understanding Common Core presentation designed to help parents help their kids with their math homework again. This presentation takes place Monday, Oct. 16, at 5:30 p.m. on the College’s Marshfield campus and includes instruction on Common Core math procedures as well as discussion of the benefits of Common Core math and why it is being used.

The session is part of an ongoing series bringing Mid-State’s expertise on topics currently relevant to the community. There is no need to register to attend this or any presentation in Mid-State’s Speaker Series, and all sessions are free and open to the public.
