Oct. 2

Into the Woods: At 9:28 a.m. a complaint was made from the area of Jefferson St. regarding individuals believed to have been in the woods nearby. Fast food wrappers were reportedly found.

Prowler Alert: A call was made from the area Cliff St. and Greenwood to report a man driving a small blue car “very slowly” while looking into garages.

Dumpster Talk: At 9:07 p.m. dispatch was informed of an alleged intoxicated man on the 1800 block of Eighth St. South, sitting alone by a dumpster and mumbling to himself.

Red Light, Red Light: Late into the night a report was made from an intersection on W. Grand Ave. by the railroad tracks of all stop lights showing red.

Oct. 3

Unwanted Caller: At 1:13 p.m. a report was made from the 100 block of 15th Ave. South regarding a woman who continued to receive unwanted calls from the same unknown individual.

Egged: At 5:19 p.m. a complaint was made from the 900 block of Oak St. that the caller’ house was egged.

White Van: At 6:52 p.m. police were informed of a man in a white van that pulled into a parking lot on the 2900 block of Peach St. and remained there. Police would find that it was just a carpet installer.

Man Up: At 9:44 p.m. a report was made of a manhole cover sticking up on Chestnut St., with the caller making multiple unsuccessful attempts to get it back into place.
