WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Finance & Property members approved an agreement with developers Cranberry Woods Wisconsin Rapids LLC for new townhouses on Tuesday night.
These townhouses will be developed on recently purchased property at 2330 16th St. South. The property was purcahsed from the city for $1, with the agreement that Cranberry Woods would pay a development fee of $40,000.
“There’s also a reversion clause that if we they don’t develop, we would get that property back and the development fee would be waived.” said City Attorney Sue Schill.
Development could start as early as next year.
