Nekoosa Gets Knocked Out of Playoffs by Osceola
City Times Staff
OSCEOLA — Osceola hasn’t lost a game this year, and they kept it that way on Friday night with a 49-20 win over the Papermakers.
On the Nekoosa side of the ball, quarterback Kyle Olson would connect twice with Marquan Wiesan for 69 and 70-yard touchdown passes, respectively. Brandon Wolf would join this club, catching an 87-yard touchdown pass from Olson late in the game.
However, the undefeated Chieftains were too much for the Papermakers, as they put up 35 points in the first half, and set the tone for the rest of the game. Olson, however, would have one of his best showings yet on the season, throwing for 250 yards and three touchdowns.
Nekoosa finishes 3-7 on the year.
