Police & Sheriff Calls for Oct. 24-25

Oct. 24
Cats: At 8:11 a.m. a complaint was made from the 4600 block of Eighth St. South regarding unwanted cats heading into the caller’s yard.
Dogs: At 3:09 p.m. dispatch was notified of two unwanted dogs on the 1100 block of Cook Ave. that were allegedly infested with fleas, and in the caller’s backyard.
Prowler Alert: At 7:16 p.m. a call was made from the 500 block of 12th Ave. North to report a van parked in front of a house, watching those inside.
Fleas: At 2:08 a.m. a call was made from a laundromat on Eighth St. South concerning a 27-year-old woman who believed she was infested with fleas.

Oct. 25
Flower Pot Vandal: At 10:14 a.m. a complaint was made from a residence on the 200 block of 11th Ave. North regarding a man pounding on the door and breaking flower pots on the porch.
Dealer’s Stash: At 3:01 p.m. police were informed of a man on the 1100 block of 16th St. South who found various drug paraphernalia, baggies with a white substance inside, two scales and a couple of cell phones.
Scam Attempt: At 4:57 p.m. a call was made to report that her phone number had been used in scam attempts in the area.
Lady in Red: At 9:36 p.m. a call was made from an apartment complex on 19th Ave. South concerning a woman dressed in all red, with a red cloth over her face. She was reported to have allegedly been on drugs.
Gas Bandits: At 11:08 p.m. the theft of gas and merchandise was reported from a gas station on W. Grand Ave. The two thieves had been wearing bandannas to hide their faces.
