Wisconsin Rapids Police

Oct. 31

Phantom Bear: At 6:28 a.m. a call was made to report a bear on the 200 block of Poplar St. Officers would arrive to find no bear in sight.

Ambulance Call: At 10:31 a.m. an ambulance was requested for a man on Rosewood Ave. for a man found on the ground with blood coming out of his mouth.

Uneasy Rider: At 5:09 p.m. a complaint was made from the 10th St. North and Saratoga regarding a moving SUV with children sitting on an open tailgate.

Nov. 1

Afternoon Nap: At 11:03 a.m. a call was mad regarding an intoxicated man laying on the ground in the area of Eighth St. South.

Dog-Gonit: At 2:10 p.m. a complaint was made from the 700 block of 23rd St. North concerning a neighbors dog that allegedly keeps defecating in his yard.

Screaming Match: A call was late late into the evening to inform police of a man and a woman yelling at each other in a parking lot on the 1700 block of 2nd Ave. South.

Nov. 2

Jewel Thief: At 12:20 p.m. a call was made from the 3000 block of Fourth St. South regarding the theft of jewelry.

Stand: A call was made late into the evening to inform police of a man on 16th St. South in a green flannel who was just “standing there” for over an hour.

Loud Drunks: At 2:05 a.m. a complaint was made from the 400 block of Second St. South concerning two intoxicated individuals by his house.
