For the City Times

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Five women contemplate their butts, their lives, and their insatiable love of chocolate. What could be more fun?

Written by Joni Hilton and directed by Gregory Konz-Krzyminski , the Wisconsin Rapids Community Theatre presents “Does this Show make my butt look fat?”. Tickets are $30 and inlcude pre-show hearty appetizers, a LuLaRoe fashion show, cash bar and a chance to win some raffle prizes.

“This is a show, not a play. That means there’s not a conflict-driven plot to follow,” said Konz-Krzyminski. “It’s a series of funny, funny vignettes about women’s perceptions of their bodies, both self-induced and society driven. There is some voluntary audience participation and – for the first time ever – dessert will be served in the auditorium right during the show.”

Join the cast Whitley Ciszewski, Linda Garski, Joan Joseph, Kristie Ponce, and Sonja Swanson for an event of pure fun. Two performances – Thursday, Nov. 9 at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday, Nov. 11 at 1:30 p.m.

For more information or to reserve tickets, contact the WRCT office by phone at 715-421-0435 or visit the WRCT website at www.wrctheatre.org.
