WISCONSIN RAPIDS — A Lincoln High School student was nationally recognized last month for his academic performance.

Senior Nathan Hepp has been chosen as a finalist for Wendy’s High School Heisman for his work as a leader on and off the football field.

“These students are known by their teachers and friends for their commitment and excellence,” said Lincoln High School counselor Ann Felker. “We are excited and honored that a program like Wendy’s High School Heisman is also recognizing their hard work.”

School winners receive a Wendy’s High School Heisman winner certificate and a patch. Finalists receive a patch, a bronze medal, and a $25 gift card. Since 1964 Wendy’s has honored more than 600,000 students for their performances on and off the field.
