MINNESOTA — The Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings dropped two games on the road over the weekend to the Minnesota Moose.
On Friday night, after two goals by Moose forward Dylan Gast, the Riverkings found themselves in a 2-0 hole early on. They were able to pull within one with a goal from Jacob Gaydos, but never full recovered, as they fell 5-2 on the road. Matyas Kacirek would contributed the second Riverkings goal on the night.
On Saturday, the game was closer, but the Moose defense kept the Riverkings at bay, allowing no goals on the night. Gast contributed for the Moose with two more goals in this game, with a final score of 2-0.
The Riverkings are back in action on Nov. 17.
