Nov. 3

Retail Squatter: At 7:59 a.m. a call was made from a store on the 4300 block of Eighth St. South to report a man sleeping in the bathrooms, and yelling at himself.

Gunshot: At 6:28 p.m. police were informed of a gunshot in the area of 12th Ave. North.

Prowler Alert: At 7:38 p.m. a call was made regarding individuals inside a blue car that continued to circle a parking lot by the Rapids Mall. Police would find that they were simply killing time before a movie.

Nov. 5

Phantom Gunshot: At 7:50 a.m. a report was made of a possible gunshot in the area of 27th Ave. South. It turns out that it was simply a power outage.

Squirrely: At 10:04 a.m. a complaint was made regarding a squirrel that was inside of a caller’s home on 12th St. North.

Drug Activity: At 12:13 a.m. dispatch was notified of potential drug activity going down at a hotel on Eighth St. South.

Nov. 6

Swerving: At 4:28 p.m. a complaint was made concerning a navy van in the area of State Highway 66 that had been swerving all over the road.

Fireworks: At 7:28 p.m. a complaint was made of a person setting off fireworks in the area of Seventh St. South. Authorities would find no fireworks in the vicinity.

Slumped Over: At 7:35 p.m a call was made from the 900 block of E. Riverview Expressway to report a woman slumped over her driver’s seat. Police would find that she was just sleeping.
