Police & Sheriff Calls for Nov. 13-15
Nov. 13
Garage Thief: At 10:37 a.m. a complaint was made regarding the theft of items on the 400 block of Ninth Ave. South.
Drug Dealers: A call was made from a hotel on Eighth St. South to report potential drug activity. A woman, who always pays for her room with cash had been staying at the hotel room for numerous days wit her boyfriend, and always carried an orange backpack on her. A lot of people were reported coming and going to their room.
Food Thief: At 7:14 p.m. a call was made to police from the 100 block of 12th Ave. South regarding not just the theft of food from the caller’s fridge, but a the complaint that the same person put water in his laundry soap.

Slow Ride: At 12:38 p.m. a call was made from the 300 block of E. Grand Ave. to report a vehicle traveling at an extremely low rate of speed, swerving in and out of their lane.
Wrong Way: At 7:37 p.m. police were notified of a man driving on the wrong side of Eighth St. South, only to stop by a nearby parking lot, and stagger around the area before running off.
Train Troubles: At 1:44 a.m. dispatch was informed of a train blocking the road for an excessive amount of time on W. Grand Ave. and 25th Ave. South.

Diverted Dump Truck: At 2:29 p.m. a complaint was made from the 3000 block of Plover Rd. concerning a dump truck driving recklessly while the driver was on his cell phone.
Facebook Abuse: At 5:55 p.m. a call was made from a residence on 11th Ave. North to report that their son was being threatened over Facebook messenger.
Party Fouls: A call was made late from an apartment complex on 21st Ave. South to report an overly loud party, as well as an illegally parked van.
