Police Seeking Identity of Man Involved in Credit Card Fraud

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Police are seeking your help in identifying a man believed to be involved in credit card fraud.

According to the Wisconsin Rapids Police Department:

“A Wisconsinite from the Fox Valley area fell victim to an unauthorized purchase on his credit card. The victim’s credit card was used to create a gift card and was traced back to our Wal-Mart in Wisconsin Rapids. The victim’s credit card my have been skimmed at an earlier date.”

Police have identified three potential victims since three separate credit card names were used to create other gift cards by the same individual. Law enforcement encourages anyone with information on this man’s identity to contact them at 715-423-4444, or at 1-877-325-7867.
