WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Reentry Associates will host a community gathering of city leaders, residents, policymakers, and stakeholders regarding the effects of substance abuse and mental illness next week.

According to a press release, The Reentry Associates will look to hear from as many as possible from within the community on the subjects of drug abuse, mental health, and incarceration, and how they are negatively impacting the area. This community soup conversation will serve to create potential solutions and come together with mutual understandings of the issue at hand.

The meeting will be held on Nov. 30, from 1PM – 3PM at the McMillan Library All Purpose Room, located at 490 E. Grand Ave. For more information on The Reentry Associates, check out their Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/thereentryassociates/
