Fall Festival Fundraiser Luncheon
Lambda Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi held a salad buffet Fundraiser Luncheon on Nov. 4 at First English Lutheran Church. The festive tables were decorated to represent various autumn themes.
A fashion show featured seasonal styles from Christopher & CJ Banks of Plover with chapter members modeling the clothing and narration by Trish Michau. Karen Bures provided piano accompaniment for the event. Artfully decorated gift baskets donated by local businesses and individuals were raffled, and a 50/50 drawing was held.
Luncheon proceeds are designated to benefit the following organizations:
Restoring Hope Transplant House which provides a residence for transplant patients, as well as their caregivers, during outpatient treatment at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
Jeremiah’s Crossing, a therapeutic horseback-riding ranch in Babcock, Wisconsin, for children and adults diagnosed with special needs.
Never Forgotten Honor Flight serving 12 northern Wisconsin counties transporting veterans, at no cost, to their military memorials in Washington, D.C.
Cancer Patient Fund of Aspirus UW Cancer Center in Wisconsin Rapids which assists with miscellaneous financial needs that patients may experience as a result of receiving cancer treatment, such as medication co-pays and transportation expenses.
“Our gratitude goes out to all who attended, donated, or assisted in any way to help make the Benefit Luncheon a success.”
