Riverkings’ Schuette Named USPHL Goalie of the Week

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Veteran Riverkings Goalie Erik Schuette was named the United States Premier Hockey League’s “Goalie of the Week”.
Schuette stoped 26 shots in the Riverkings 3-0 shoutout in Forest Lake against Minnesota Mullets last month. Last years Midwest league leader, Schuette helped his team kill off 12 powerplays to help gain an important road win leading to Thanksgiving break.
You can catch Schuette and the Riverkings, as they take on the Ironwood Fighting Yoopers this Friday and Saturday at the South Wood County Recreational Center, 2711 16th St. South.
