WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Lambda Master held a benefit luncheon on Nov. 4, 2017, with proceeds designated to the following four area charitable organizations:
-Restoring Hope Transplant House in Middleton provides transplant and burn patients, as well as their caregivers, with affordable housing while undergoing outpatient treatment at University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison.
-Cancer Patient Fund of Aspirus UW Cancer Center, a collaborative effort of Aspirus Riverview Foundation, under the direction of Andy Metcalf, and private donors, and assists patients with financial needs with expenses related to cancer treatment.
-Never Forgotten Honor Flight, headquartered in Wausau, serves 12 northern Wisconsin counties transporting veterans who served during wartime to Washington D.C. for guided tours of the nation’s war memorials, at no expense to the veterans.
-Jeremiah’s Crossing in Babcock is a therapeutic horseback-riding ranch for children and adults diagnosed with special needs.
