Lucille J. Dove, 79, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Arborview Court.

She was born on June 5, 1938, to the late Philip and Luella (Helke) Styka, and was a graduate of John Edwards High School in Port Edwards. She was previously married to David Saeger. On May 17, 1975, her marriage to Charles Dove took place at Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Edwards.

Lucille had worked as a shipping/billing coordinator for 3M in Wisconsin Rapids. She loved Christmas, attending the kids’ sporting events and get-togethers at the family cabin in Rhinelander. Her other interests included traveling with her husband, cooking, baking, taking photos and walking her dog Ally. She was a faithful member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband, Charles of Wisconsin Rapids; daughter, Kathy Kies of Hastings, Minnesota; stepson, Ken (Ruth) Dove of Danville, California; son, Glenn (Lynn) Saeger of Port Edwards; son, Chad Dove of the town of Rome; grandchildren, Lisa (Wes) Zube, Philip (fiancée Lori) Saeger, Alex Dove, Brooke Dove and Ken Kies; great-granddaughter, Cleondra Zube; and brother, Keith (Bev) Styka of the town of Rome.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 29, 2017, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church with the Rev. Dr. Carlton Andersen officiating. Burial will take place in the Port Edwards Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home, and again on Friday morning at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. A prayer service will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
