Riverkings Pick Up 20th Win of Season

CHICAGO — The Wisconsin Rapids Riverkings have improved to 3-0 in Chicago, as they pick up their 20th win on the year.
The Riverkings added two more wins on Friday. The team got things started in the afternoon by beating an always tough Steele County Blades 4-1. The boys came back strong as the flood gates opened with the Riverkings trouncing Tri-City Ice Hawks 11-2 as they improved to 20-7.
Saturday the Riverkings face off against the second place (Midwest West) Minnesota Moose as one of the showcases most anticipated game. Puck drops at 10:10 a.m. at the Leafs Center in West Dundee, Ill.
