Police & Sheriff Calls for Jan. 5-7

Car vs. Building: At 11:53 a.m. a call was made regarding a vehicle that has smashed into a business building on the 4500 block of Eighth St. South.
Car vs. Pole: At 3:36 p.m. an accident was reported regarding a vehicle that had smashed into a pole on the corner of Fourth St. South and Mead St.
Phantom Smell: At 8:35 p.m. police were notified of the smell of marijuana coming from a residence on the 1500 block of 21st Ave. South. Police arrived to find no such smell.

Egged: At 9:04 a.m. a report came in from the area of 12th St. North of a vehicle being egged.
Shooting Up: At 4:36 p.m. a call was made to report two men “shooting up” in the parking lot of a gas station on 17th Ave. South. They were later detained.
Unruly Patron: At 2:29 a.m. a complaint was made from a tavern on Eighth St. South concerning an “unruly” patron that refused to leave.

Hunting Gear: At 2:34 p.m. a call was made concerning two suspicious men in hunting gear putting a truck seat over a wall near the area of Market St. and First St. North.
Loose Doggie: At 3:13 p.m. a call was made to report a black lab on the loose with multiple children chasing after it, resulting in a traffic hazard in the area of Lincoln St.
Missing Car: At 8:28 p.m. a complaint was made regarding the caller’s missing vehicle in the area of First St. North. He would later find that his vehicle was towed due to it being parked illegally.
