Flash Freeze Warning Issued for Area

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — A flash freeze warning has been issued for this afternoon and evening for Wisconsin Rapids and surrounding areas.
According to the National Weather Service, while much of Wisconsin will receive only minor snow or ice, road conditions are still likely to deteriorate, especially on untreated streets. Untreated roads are expected to quickly become ice covered as temperatures drop later in the evening.
This may result in dangerous driving conditions for work commutes.
