Parks Department Closes Warming House for Today

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — As a “heat wave” of sorts sweeps through Wisconsin in the month of January, parks officials have announced that some winter features at Witter Park will be closed today.
The Witter Warming House and Robinson Park Low Board Hockey will be closed today due to the warm, rainy weather.
“If the weather cools off as forecasted, we hope to be able to open both for the weekend.” said Dawn Desorcey, in a news release.
