Jan. 8

Stealing the Spotlight: At 11:10 a.m. a call was made from the 1100 block of 16th St. North to report the theft of a handheld spotlight.

Flooded: At 5:04 p.m. a call was made regarding the Sleep Inn, located on Eighth St. South, and that the building was “flooding” and “caving in”.

Bored: At 11:38 p.m. a call was made from the retail store on the 4300 block of Eighth St. South to report individuals taking pictures and video in the store when they were told to stop.

Jan. 9

Slasher: At 10:08 a.m. a complaint was made regarding three slashed tires at a convenience store on the 2400 block of Eighth St. South.

Knock Knock: At 9:09 p.m. a dispatch was notified that someone had knocked on a caller’s door on the 1100 block of 12th St. South, but the caller was afraid to answer it.

Safety First: At 11:29 p.m. a call was made to report a woman walking down the middle of the road on Second Ave. North carrying a flashlight. She was simply headed to the store.

Jan. 10

Car Punchers: At 2:32 p.m. a call was made to report a group of kids who punched the caller’s car in the area of 16th St. South.

Threatened: At 8:39 p.m. police were notified of a woman who was threatened in the street in the area of 10th Ave. North.

Scooters: At 4:02 a.m. a call was made to dispatch from a business on the 4300 block of Eighth St. South regarding an unruly customer who took a motorized cart and started to ride it around the parking lot.
