Sponsored by the Mid-State Technical College Diversity Committee

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A free presentation from Yaron Svoray, one-time undercover agent and spy inside the world of terrorism, is coming to Mid-State Technical College’s Wisconsin Rapids and Stevens Point campuses this month. Mid-State’s Diversity Committee will host Svoray on Wednesday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. in the Wisconsin Rapids Campus’s auditorium and 5 p.m. in the Stevens Point Campus’s Community Engagement Room 634/635.

Svoray is a former police detective who has worked undercover with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and later became an investigative journalist, author, retriever of stolen WWII looted treasures and public speaker. A son of Holocaust survivors, he gained worldwide attention as a result of his undercover work to infiltrate the neo-Nazi movement in Germany.

“Svoray’s gripping story is inspiring and at times heartbreaking,” said Natasha Miller, Mid-State’s student life coordinator and Diversity Committee chair. “We are thrilled to be able to provide a platform for such an uplifting message about bravery and not giving up in the face of adversity.”

“The Infiltrator” presentation is part of the Mid-State Diversity Committee’s ongoing efforts to bring thought-provoking topics and useful resources to the community. Learn more at www.mstc.edu/infiltrator.
