Obituary: Kenneth Heiser, 92

Kenneth Heiser.

Kenneth C. Heiser, 92, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Tuesday evening, Jan. 22, 2018, at The Waterford at Wisconsin Rapids.

He was born on Sep. 15, 1925, in Vesper, to the late Herman and Kathryn (Kreppel) Heiser, and served in the U.S. Army following World War II. His marriage to Carol Schroeder took place on Feb. 17, 1951, at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church.

Kenneth was a truck driver at Consolidated Papers, Inc. before retiring and he enjoyed spending time with family, playing pool and working in his garage.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Carol of Wisconsin Rapids; sons, Alan (Tracy) of Wisconsin Rapids, Ron (Kandace) of Sun Prairie, and Dennis (Sharon) of Pewaukee; grandchildren, Heather (Mike) Cebulski of New Berlin, Clark Heiser and Jill Heiser of Sun Prairie, Jordan (Tim) Wogerman of Port Edwards, Colin Kipper and Logan Kipper of Wisconsin Rapids; great-grandchildren, John and Hannah Cebulski, and Sophie Wogerman; and sister-in-law, Phyllis Heiser of Stevens Point.

In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded in death by brothers Wayne and LeRoy Heiser; and half-brother, Eldred Heiser.

The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2018, at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids, with the Rev. Martin Baur officiating. Burial will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 12 noon until the time of service.
