Frigoli Named Aspirus Riverview Director of Emergency Services

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Paul Frigoli has been named Director of Emergency Services with Aspirus Riverview Hospital & Clinics. Frigoli has been serving as Aspirus Riverview’s Interim Director of Emergency Services since November 2017.

In his new role, Frigoli oversees Aspirus Riverview Hospital’s emergency department and directs Aspirus Riverview’s trauma program and Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners.

Frigoli has been with Aspirus since 2014, serving in a variety of emergency services and quality improvement roles throughout the Aspirus health care system. Prior to joining Aspirus, he led emergency departments in large and small communities, including North Platte, Nebraska and Waco, Texas. His experience in emergency services includes directing the large-scale disaster response when a fertilizer plant exploded in the city of West, Texas in 2013.

Frigoli has been a registered nurse since 1980, earning his nursing degrees from the University of Detroit Mercy and the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. In addition to holding two master’s degrees, he earned a Ph.D. in training and performance improvement from Capella University. Frigoli serves as the immediate past president of the Wisconsin Association for Healthcare Quality and is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality and a Certified Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma.

The son of career missionaries, Frigoli was born and raised in Bolivia and is bilingual in Spanish and English. His family will be moving to Wisconsin Rapids from Fennimore, Wisconsin.
