Police Association to Hold 35th Annual Trash Bag Fundraiser

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — The Wisconsin Rapids Professional Police Association (WRPPA) will conduct its 35th Annual trash bag fundraiser starting Feb. 26 through March 30.

WRPPA will be calling residents and businesses to see if they would like to purchase trash bags.

“We are selling large 33 gallon bags in both clear and yellow color 70 bags per order and small kitchen size trash bags 15 gallon size in clear 130 per order. The cost per order is $40.”

The Boy Scouts of America will be making the deliveries starting on Saturday April 21st, 2018 to residences and businesses will be delivered the week of April 23rd.

“We are no longer selling trash bags from the Police Department and will sell during the sale times only. If you would like to be put on the list to ensure a phone call, or would like to place an order, please call the WRPPA at 1-877-92WRPPA (1-877-929-7772) year-round. You can also go on the City of Wisconsin Rapids Police Department web-site WRPPA Bag Sale to submit a request to be added to the call list. 60% of our proceeds will be donated back to the community to local organizations.”
