Workplace Professionalism class offered at Mid-State Technical College

For the City Times

STEVENS POINT – A workplace professionalism class will be offered at Mid-State’s locations in Stevens Point and Marshfield in April. The course includes a morning offering in Stevens Point on Tuesdays, April 10–24, and a lunchtime offering in Marshfield on Thursdays, April 12–26.

This workshop is designed to help new professionals and those transitioning into an office environment start out on the right foot. Attendees will develop an awareness of workplace expectations and manners, tactics for dealing with office politics and difficult personalities and more. Three sessions include Professionalism, Nonverbal Communication & Listening and Verbal Communication.
