WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Riverkings Goalie Erik Schuette has committed to play and attend school at Concordia University Wisconsin.
Schuette led the Midwest West with 17 wins and five shutouts and helped the Riverkings finish in second place. Last year Schuette was goalie of the year and a finalist for player of the year. Schuette is not only a top performer on the ice, he is also an outstanding student who carries a 5.0 GPA 30 ACT and was his High Schools top student.
Schuette had multiple schools interested, but Concordia checked off all his boxes. It offers the degree he is interested in, location, school size, strong coaching staff and a nationally ranked NCAA hockey program that is on the rise.
The Riverkings are honored and excited for Schuette, and looking forward to all of his future successes as a student athlete.
