Group Crisis Intervention Class Offered Through Mid-State Technical College

WISCONSIN RAPIDS – A group crisis intervention class will be offered through Mid-State Technical College’s continuing education. The class will meet on Tuesday, May 8, andWednesday, May 9, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Mid-State’s Wisconsin Rapids campus. The course fee is $110, with a discounted fee of $63.73 for those ages 62 and over.

This course will prepare participants to understand a wide range of crisis intervention services and includes discussion of the need for appropriate follow-up services and referrals when necessary. Completion of this two-day course results in a certificate indicating full attendance (14 contact hours). It is designed for those in the fields of business and industry crisis intervention, disaster response, education, emergency services, employee assistance, healthcare, homeland security, mental health, military, spiritual care and traumatic stress.
