PORT EDWARDS — A new sign has been erected at Port Auto Service at the corner of Letendre and Third Street in Port Edwards.

This sign represents the village’s new status as the first village in the United States to be designated a “Monarch Village USA”.  This spring, the Business Council will sponsor plaques for individual businesses to advertise as well as welcoming visitors to the monarch habitat erected next to the Nekoosa Port Edwards State Bank.

This sign was made possible through a grant paid from the Port Edwards Progress Fund established at Incourage.
