Riverkings Defenseman Commits to D3 College

WISCONSIN RAPIDS — Riverkings Defenseman Brett DeLaat has committed to play next year and attend school at Aurora University; NCAA D3.
DeLaat is coming off a breakout season for the Riverkings having produced 42 points in 44 games and playing important minutes. The 6’3” 205 lbs Kenosha WI native is not only a top player, but DeLatt is also an outstanding student with 4.3 GPA and was a team captain and was awarded Top Defenseman and most improved.
“Brett is a player with lots of upside because of his size, skating ability, and work ethic,” said Head Coach Marty Quarters, “The Riverkings are proud of Brett and excited to watch his progress at the NCAA level.”
He will joining an up and coming program led by former USPHL coach, Jason Bloomingburg.
