Wisconsin’s newest millionaire is Rapids resident

MADISON – James Vruwink of Wisconsin Rapids has won the second top prize of $1 million playing the Wisconsin Millions scratch game.

Vruwink purchased his $30 Wisconsin Millions ticket at the Food Tree, 1759 Greenfield Ave., Wisconsin Rapids.

Retailers who sell winning tickets over $599 receive an incentive of 2 percent of the winning ticket amount up to $100,000.

This was the last $1 million top prize available in the game. The odds of winning the top prize in Wisconsin Millions is 1:160,000.
